One week left of uni FOREVERRRRRRR! Thus life truly begins (thug lyf) or ends via a full time job and evolving into a real adult. Nothing like a bit of nyan cat nostalgia I hope you appreciated the alliteration right thur.  I promise it's safe to listen to the song, it's kidnap kid! A little delusional, my bum physical aches from sitting in front of diablo for 3 hours straight.

Denim floats around and never gets old but when you add some cute patches and murals of your favorite cartoon, it's safe to say that loosing it would give off that devastating kick in the gut feeling of loosing your blankey when you were 12 (oh come off it, people always pass it off as if they were far younger, no one is judging here, you are your own person now and just in case you are still one to be comforted by its security as you fall asleep good for you, I hear its relaxing and therapeutic qualities are exceptional).

SO I finally got around to ironing and sewing on some patches to my denim jacket! Collected a few hand made crochet ones off etsy and a bloody kreepsville one and still going so if you have any stores you have in mind be sure to line me! Still deciding whether to paint something on the back or not; ideas anyone?

On another note I had too much fun courtesy of Lapalux and oOoOO Friday night. The boys are really sweet and polite MELLLLTTTT and when I asked Stuart if he could please play memories he replied with a british "I can do that for you." DOUBLE TRIPLE MELT. Party Monsters

When grand-dad's being condescending, he forgets he's irrelevant. Anywho, what I wore to DUBLOVE last Friday night, what started out as a joke became so great, as we were breaking open the head, I needed the whole weekend to recover.
 

On another note, Rupaul's drag race has been my latest fix thanks to my friend Ish for showing me one night drinking on the back stairs before our ear drums were blown by Merzbow. 

How do you get your closest contemporary club kid aesthetic fix?

My favorite manga would have to be, hands down, anything by Junji Ito. Long arduous bus rides fly by when I'm in his world of Gyo, Uzumaki and apart of the Museum of Horror Collection: Tomie.

I have also seen Uzumaki, the live action film;  interestingly it's eerie visuals and use of colour give off a 70s derelict, end of the world vibe which I adored and was more impressed when I realized it was produced in 2000. The trouble I had was how the bulk of horror and creepiness was lost in its translation to film, same with Tomie. Or maybe it comes down to the fact that I've been desensitized by all the gore films I indulge in?

In the end, I much prefer to stick to bold black and white raw graphics, it gives your imagination a workout, in my case everything is ten times more disturbing! The way that books are always better than the movie, a method better enjoyed, fully immersed even if it's a longer process, don't you think?

Now, if only Romance was Born would team up with Ito after marvel (s/s 2012/13), wouldn't that be a world worth living in (I'm sure my best friend would vom)!?

Super Fun Scratch

DIY nail art has got it down, especially the evidently home made jobs in all its trash, amateur splendor! Reminds me of a past super super nail salon article where fighterjetnoises, teenwitch and teeth put together html inspired numbers only digital dreams are made of. I also found some cool etsy stores that have decals and glittery nail polishes that aren't the typical vibe of misleadingly inedible Japanese dessert.

Which set are your favorite, how far would you go (to the point of getting people to pick things up for you)?

 

I've also  been using my time very wisely during the uni rush, putting some cute amateur iphone 4 clear cases together; on a whim and strictly for guilty pleasures, until girls were interested via my instagram. So if you would like me to make one just send me an e-mail!

From a time where I could never wear a leather jacket with leather shorts...I feel as though there's nothing wrong with a little leather overload. Am I right? I've been addicted to searching for leather/latex catsuits for no reason at; it's all too intriguing!

I've also been neglecting the ends of my hair and topping up the top sections with manic panic's shocking blue because;

2. I'm economically destitute (!)
3. Doesn't look too bad (?)
4. Considering dying the ends another shade (?)
